There is no political party in Nigeria

0
It is not surprising seeing politicians in Nigeria move from one political part to another. The recent cross carpeting is just a confirmation that there is no political party that has unique ideology in the country. Ones they were called corrupt people, bad leaders, thieves, criminals, election riggers etc. yet as soon as they move (from one political party to another), they automatically transform to saints and are welcome as Heros. Now they have ran to APC, the question that I ask is for APC to tell us the ‘babalawo or the prophet’ that helped them to purge these once called members of the so call corrupt party. What is their guarantee to Nigerians that they will not show that character that labelled them election riggers? Or are there no difference between APC and PDP?
The saying that in politics there is ‘no permanent friend no permanent enemy but permanent interest’ is just a practical explanation of political practice and process in Nigeria. The name APC, PDP, APGA etc. can be likened to a Police officer changing to become an Immigration officer (still a law enforcement agent).
These people should not think that Nigerians are fools…..we know that all of them are just the same; there is no PDP, APC, APGA etc. rather what we have is a group of power hungry people that have determined to perpetually keep Nigeria underdeveloped by solely pursuing their selfish interest with the common wealth of the nation. It is time Nigerians stand up and say enough is enough and there is no better time than now. Until we take our destiny in our own hands, there will not be any meaningful development in the country.
